Books..Sunshine..Girls.. and my man

Ok so I didn't know how else to title this so that was my best shot! I know I know it's been a week, well hold onto you panties and/or whitie tighties and relax. Here is our week wrapped up into one fantastic post. Last weekend Sam and I were lucky enough to get away AGAIN. Yes, people, I know what you're thinking, what horrible parents. Left those precious girls again for some R&R... ummm YES we did and it was amazing. We stayed with some amazing friends of ours who own THIS hotel in Carmel, CA and had a fantastic time together. The girls enjoyed themselves with one of their favorites, Nicole! Hi Nicole! Thank you again!Then the week started off amazing with some random hot weather here. We really are spoiled here in the bay. On Tuesday, Bay decided it was her time to shine and got her ears pierced. Wow, she was a brave little one going into it. She kept telling me,'It won't hurch me mama'. And I kept keeping it real, with Yes, baby it will hurch you a little bit'. But that didn't faze her a bit. But she did mad dog me for a good 2 hours after it was all said and done. The we hit up ColdStone for a 2 for 1 deal they have on Tuesdays for kiddos. Perfect! Then today we headed to the park where I swear it must have been 80 degrees today, no joke! The girls met some new friends and got all the energy out for naptime. Yay! So our week was pretty busy, I did manage to cook all week at home and break in my new crock pot my girl Linz grabbed me for my anniversary! She's the bomb! Homemade beef stroganoph(s/p?),minestrone and chicken and dumplings. Yes, I am wrestling the inner Okie inside. Thankx mom! And between all my domestication (is that even a word) I had time to start a new book, The Shack! Ummmm it's kind of a big deal so go do something good for yourself and buy it. ASAP! I can't put it down. And I have been in book deprivation ever since I ended my love affair with Twilight. So this is good. Ok peps, take it easy, have a fantastic weekend and we shall see you soon!
