Been Struggling...

Hello Everyone! Well a couple things:

One, I think I have hijacked this blog and I am claiming it as my own. I thought maybe Sam would enjoy this with me but he has been so busy lately and as I read through the entries, I don't anticipate him jumpin into this anytime soon. SO many apologies if you have been waiting anxiously for his words of wisdom, prob lay won't happen. Sorry to disappoint. But never fear, I am still here. So please check in every now and again for updates by yours truly and I will do my best to keep family and friends posted on the Haps of our little hectic mess!

And since we are talking Bloggin and all, I have made a temporary choice to open my blog back up. Meaning not private. This is only temporary folks. I know how much easier it is to cruise through and read when it's not private and everything but it's just as easy to get a gmail acct and just simply sign in too. So I do enjoy keeping up with you all too but I have too much at stake to keep this open forever to WEIRDO"S and yes people, they are out there. So while this is open, do enjoy and take a little time to get that ever elusive gmail address, even if you never use it, just to sign in here would be perfect. Thank you for your understanding .

Have a blessed Day!
In Him

Home Sweet Home

So Sam and I have been talking, discussing, whatever you want to call it, about moving to Monterey or staying here. Which is home sweet home? Hard decisions. We have called AZ our home for almost 4 years now and I have to say it has been good to us. I have made amazing friendships, we have raised our girls here, watched them grow, established our marriage here it seems and now leaving that seems hard and harder to swallow. I never thought it would be a difficult choice to make being that all we ever wanted was to be back 'home'. But my vision of home has changed. I feel safe here for some reason. With all that I went through personally back at home before leaving, it was a nice goodbye. Of course I miss some friends and family and the area period but some much has changed back home. The church being such a major part of that it's like I feel almost cheated to go back. Poor guidance, poor leadership still stands in the way for me to fall back into a so-callled 'christian fog'. I have been a christian for a little over 5 years now and have learned alot, met valuable people who have helped shaped my little life, not many have been from where it all started. I do not want to be in a rut. I wanted valuable realationship and I value mine. It sucks to come to this conclusion about home. Which home, our old home now. With all that said, I just pray whatever we end up decideing it will be a God driving desire for myself to be strong in my faith, 'know real truth' and not someones opinion and surround myself with all kinds. Raise my girls in a loving home, teach them about God, 'Be-friend' my husband, have long deserved family time and be with my family. That makes a home sweet. Have a good day ya'll.

God's work

So many of you know my dad visiting is a rare occasion so when I got the news that he had made plans, I was shocked for lack of a better word, when he said he had bought a plane ticket out here to AZ.His visit was precious. He truly was a grandpa to the girls. And they were not easy to love while he was out here. Our life has been a little caotic the past couple weeks but to my surprise he was loving and patient. I caught some moments I would like to share since it is a sweet time to see my girls with their Grandpa Brad. God is really the only one I can give credit to in this. And I realize it is a huge step for my dad to start learning and most important LOVING my family. Thank you dad.

The lastest and greatest

Well here it is...The update! As most have heard, Sam was laid off two weeks ago yesterday from Empire. A blessing in disguise it is turning out to be though. I believe Sam was an amazing asset to that company and all he gained was priceless. Anyway, so we are anxiously waiting the next chapter in our sweet family life. Monterey, well maybe? Some many things will be so different but change is something Sam and I know very well, so I think we will roll with it. As far as right now, please pray for a clear, sound and peaceful desicion to be made.(Sam is driving all of us girls nuts by the way) heehee. He is the hardest working man I have ever met, fo Reals ya'll so he needs stuff to do. This was just an little update on our family tip. Stay tuned for more to come.....via Sam
