So today was Carys' first day of preschool! She was ready to go...last night! We had to convince her that it actually didn't start until today! Her and dad had their usual morning breakfast chat and then it was off to get ready. She picked out her outfit all by herself last night and even had me braid her hair so it would be curly for this morning. All that to say, when I took it out and she looked into the mirror, it was all but a catatrophic melt down. Apparently it was not what she was exspecting. She tells me inbetween tears that,'I look like Mo (from the doodlebops for those who have no idea who Mo is). Mo has frizzy hair like this and I don't like it she continues.... OMGoodness! She is only 3. Needless to say I wet it down and started from scratch. We got through that and the whole family drove her to class. She melted right in. She has a couple friends from the nieghborhood to make things easier.
Sam and I spent the next 3 hours driving aimlessy around town not really knowing what to do with ourselves. No, really, it was strange but nice altogether. We took Bay to a little indoor park and watched her as we had watched Carys years before and Sam turned to me and says, Geeze, we have done this before and now we are doing it again. Meaning, wow, how time flies with our children. And how we remmeber watching Carys not too long ago at this age, which has to be the coolest age for kiddos if I do say so myself!
Now it's naptime and I am feeling so darn lucky to have the most amazing children in my life! Today is a good day!

Wow Zo she is such a big girl now!!! I can't believe it! Did you cry? I think when Parker goes to school I'll be a mess. This darn being a mother thing has made me so emotional!
