Tour de Phillips pt. 4...
Off to Prescott Valley and Flagstaff on Friday was a mission and a half. But we (I) was so excited to see our home. And I was blown away to say the least. I had anticipated our neighborhood to be a shambles. And I was pleasantly surprised. The trees were green, the grass was perfectly manicured and our neighborhood and community looked better than ever. Which made me miss it even more. However things would never be the same. With all of our friends gone, the atmosphere would be different. So we did the walk through, no problem. Our house looked amazing. Kuddos to our previous tenants! And I was flooded with memories of that old house. We planted roots there. Had our second child there. Worked on it together. That was OUR home. I understand it's replaceable but those times here were not. For whatever reason the time there was so special, I do not know that yet. But hopfully God reveals that one day.I cherish those days very much. Carys remembered it more than Bay which was sweet to hear her tell Bay about our home and what she remembered. All three of us girls walked away with a bit more closer than the first time. So long for now...
