that it's too much to ask your 5 year old to 'hold it' until we get home. Because before you get the keys in the door, this is what happens when she can't just 'hold it' anymore. And I will quote her...
'Carys'- Can I have the keys to the door(I was getting Bay out of the car as fast as I poss. could mind you since she was practically screaming the entire ride home)
'Me'- Yes, here's the key.. go go go run run run...
'Carys'-(as I round the corner) in tears streaming down her face...'Mom, I know you are going to be disappointed in me but I 'm so sorry I had an accident and couldn't get the keys in fast enough and I went pee'. More crying...
'Me'- (trying not to burst into a crying/laughing frenzy from how she said this to me) All I can say is, ' It's ok, I am not disappointed but you really had to pee didn't you?'
Holy Crow! What a day!
P.s... And yup, that's her pee all over our doorstep.Just in case you were wondering she had an entire bottle of fuji water and a snow cone, so I guess it should have been more expected by myself, what a mom huh?!
