Convo's w/ Carys

Ok so I am going to officially start a list of convo's between my girl Carys and myself. Lately they are getting more comical and I just can't handle it so I've got to share for your enjoyment too.....

On our way to church right after me (mom) had to hit up Starbucks for a breakfast sando and a NSF Vanilla Latte...Yum!

Carys- 'Mom, you know what God says is the best thing to do than anything else'?
Mom- ' No? what?'
Carys- 'God says it's better to give than receive. So we should always want to give, that's what He says'.
Mom- (thinking where did that come from I ask) 'You are so right, how did you know that?'
Carys-'Dad just told me'.
Mom- 'Yup, your dad is right'.
Carys- (pause) 'So then mom, can I have a bite of your breakfast sandwich?' (pause again) 'Cause it's better to give than receive'.
Mom- ' For putting all that together, I have to give it up to you and say yes, have a bite Goosh.

In all her classic-ness, the girl is way too smart for me. I really sometimes feel dumb around her. Really!
