Today had to be the best Friday the girls and I have had in awhile. We headed to the beach @ Lover's point and spent 3 hours there. Not one time did we ask what time it was or anything like that. Meica and I took our group of girls and had a blast. The weather was beautiful and I still can't believe I live here. Although those AZ summers will be missed by me, I am not longing anymore for our perfect beaches thats for sure. And Lover's point has special memories for me as a little girl. This was my mom's favorite beach. We would come here alot even when she got really sick, she would come here with my brother and sister and myself, her little bikini and baseball cap to cover her head that had no more hair and be so into us. Just very present as a mom. I think about her alot here at this beach and wonder what she would be like as a grama. Only the best, I think. Only the best, my mom. Anyway, today was fun and memorable and with perfect company. The girls had no nap and have been asleep for the night since 7:30. Sweetness.

I love reading/hearing about your memories of your Mom. How special that you can take the girls to the same Beach your Mom took you.
